How we make and select GIFs

Every published GIF is drawn from a template we wrote: cakes, balloons, animals, confetti. A build script renders the frames and encodes a GIF. The same templates power the name tool, which is why a personalized export is a real animation and not a caption stuck on someone else's file.

We do not scrape Tenor, GIPHY, social media, or image search. We do not publish celebrity, film, or character art.

Fonts inside the artwork are Pacifico and Patrick Hand (SIL Open Font License) and Chewy (Apache License 2.0). License texts ship in /fonts on the site.

A GIF is published only when it has a title, a description, alt text, dimensions, a license note, and a working file. Incomplete assets are not listed.

Personal use of a published GIF is free. See the terms and the takedown path .
