Questions
How do I make a happy birthday GIF with a name?
Pick a template, type a name (up to 24 characters), choose a font and color, preview it, then download. The export is a real animated GIF, made on your device.
Can I add a custom birthday message?
Templates with a name line accept a short name. Longer wishes belong in the message you send with the GIF — copy one from Birthday Wishes and paste it into your chat.
Can I download the personalized GIF for free?
Yes. Creating and downloading a personalized GIF is free and does not require an account.
Are my name and message saved?
No. The name is drawn in your browser and discarded when you leave the page. It is not sent to a server, stored, or used in analytics.
Why isn't my personalized GIF animating?
Open the downloaded .gif in a browser tab or a photos app to confirm it animates. Some chats turn GIFs into stills. If that happens, send the file as a document, or see the WhatsApp guide for a video fallback.
